A Thousand Assisted to Vote in Magunje

MAGUNJE– Magunje Constituency had more than 1000 voters who were assisted to vote during the 2018 general elections.

According to the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) Constituency election officer, Tichaona Manyepa, 548 female voters and 518 male voters who were either blind or illiterate were assisted to vote.

Manyepa confirmed that 132 males and 128 females were turned away over various reasons including lack of identity documents.
